Tour Details
Meet your English-speaking guide at a downtown Guilin hotel at about 08:30 and drive toward Longsheng. The mountain journey takes approximately two hours to the entrance of Longji Terraces Scenic Area, followed by less than 30 minutes to the foot of the hillside village. Ping An has about 170 families and more than 700 residents, all sharing the family name Liao.

Have lunch in Ping An Village, with local dishes such as bamboo rice and chicken.
After a short break, walk through the Zhuang village and the surrounding terraces. The two main viewpoints are Moon with Seven Stars and Nine Dragons and five Tigers.

Observe everyday village life as residents work in the rice fields, women do needlework and children play nearby. Yao and Zhuang communities have cultivated these hillside terraces for more than 700 years, and the land is still used to grow rice.
In the late afternoon, stop at a Yao village where women wear red traditional dress and arrange their long hair above their heads. A Long Hair Dance may be seen during the visit. Continue to Guilin for hotel drop-off at around 17:00–17:30.
