6 days Holidays to Wuhan at The national day

Very lucky,I have a 6 days china holiday tour at the national day 2007 to visit Hubei province.

During in this tour, I visited some famous tourist cities such as Wuhan, Xiantao, Yichang, as well as Three Gorges. I had toured in many famous  attractions including Yangtze River Bridge, Yellow Crane Tower，Wuhan University，Wuhan Pedestrian Street and Three Gorges Dam.

 

So it is happy to share my tour experience with you.

Day 1 Guilin to Wuhan

I left Guilin to Wuhan by train. Along the way, the train went through the city of Yuyang and Changsha. It was so beautiful in the sight of my eyes. When 15 hours had past, I arrived in Wuchang station in Wuhan. And my friend came to pick up me joyfully.

Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is the first highway-railway bridge over the Yangtze River. On the mighty Yangtze with a length of 6,300 kilometers (3,915 miles), there was no bridge for thousands of years.

The next destination was the Central China Normal University and Wuhan University. It was great for me to enjoy the famous university elegant demeanor. We saw the sculpture of Sun yat-sen at the Central China Normal University. And the east lake in Wuhan University was so beautiful as the West Lake at Hangzhou.

Left Wuhan and went to Xiantao city by bus with 2 hours. Xiantao is a sub-prefecture level city in the province of south-east Hubei province. It has been described as a “Gymnastics town”, because it has cultivated several gymnastics champions, such as Li Xiaoshuang, Li Dashuang, and Yang Wei.

This day, we just had a basketball game at the sub-school of the Central China Normal University.

 

We got up early and went to Xiantao bus station for a train to Yichang. This bus journey took us about 5 hours. When arrived in Yichang, we just went shopping in the Pedestrian Street.
 

This day, we also got up early to find a local travel agency which could take us to the three gorges dam. We bought the ticket and got on bus with travel guide, and then begin our destination — the three gorges dam. After about 2 hours driving, we arrived in the dam, while I saw the three gorges, I could not believe that I was standing on the marvelous project. It is the largest dam in the world. And I had dreamed to be here for a long time. We have exciting sightseeing. And then we paid a visit to the three gorges museum.

 

For me, it was a tired but beautiful trip in my lifetime. I still could not calm down my mood when I reminded my experience in the Yangtze River Bridge and the Three Gorges Dam.
