A Quick Visit to Leshan on route to Mount Emei

I plan to visit Mount Emei in the May Day vacation. To stagger the crowd, we go for vacation the day before May Day to Leshan. Actually this high-speed direct to Mount Emei, but it will pass through Leshan city, so we decide to visit Leshan for a while to see the Leshan Giant Buddha.
 

After getting off from the Leshan station, there will be a lot of a lot of people to come to beckon tourists to take their tour bus directly to the Giant Buddha scenic area. Because we look through the travel guide on the internet in advance, so we ignored the tour bus, directly walk across the street to take No.3 bus. Tour buses must be higher than public bus of 2 Yuan to go the Giant Buddha scenic spot.
 
No.3 bus will have a lot of people, but because it is the starting station, still can find a available seat. About 40 minutes to the Leshan Giant Buddha. Before Leshan Giant Buddha, there will be stops like Leshan Museum and Baxian bridge stop, tourists can decide which stop to get off in accordance with your plan. We directly go to the Leshan Giant Buddha.

 

 

Out of the bus there are crowds of people rushed up to ask: Do you want a tour guide? In fact, if it is a big group who travel together, hiring a tour guide is cost-effective, but both of us just two people, we just don't think it is necessary to have a tour guide so we are ready to visit by our own. All the way there are a lot of teams followed with a guide equipped with megaphone, we don't want to delay too long in the Leshan Giant Buddha, so we buy tickets and go in, occasionally also can heard a tour guide's explanation with a megaphone.
 

Leshan Giant Buddha, as the name implies, it is Buddha of 71 meters high. We just want to see the majestic Buddha, so we do not spend much time on visiting other attractions. The Mahaoya museum, Wuyou temple we plan to go as the travel guide shows but finally we do not go into, because we delay for too long in the Buddha plank road so we do not have enough time. The ticket of Leshan Giant Buddha contains the museum and Wuyou temple tickets, so tourists who have enough time can go and see.

Cross the road of Giant Buddha scenic spot is the No.13 bus station. There are huge crowds and we wait for a very long time. The No.13 bus directly goes to the Xiaoba bus terminal for at least 40 minutes. When we wait the public bus on the side of the road there are a lot of people ask if we want to go to Chengdu or go to Mount Emei, I don't know whether the private buses are running unlicensed business, eventually we are content to buy a ticket to Mount Emei from Xiaoba bus terminal. From Leshan to Emei mountain is only 30 kilometers.
