Cycling from Guilin to Yangshuo

I have planed this great trip a long time, you see, cycling to Yangshuo from Guilin! That's a good day for a biking. So that morning, my friend Yuan and I got up very early, may be around 6am and started our trip from Guangxi Normal University in Guilin. We already knew that the trip would be a very tough one, as we should riding almost 80Km to get there. But it's much more difficult than we could imagine. I just wanna tell you that it's really a once-in-a-life-time experience, for the beautiful landscape we appreciated and the difficulty we over came!

4 hours later, we arrived in Yangshuo. It's an exhausted journey, we even doubted our choice – would it be a good idea riding to Yangshuo? Why not we make this trip by car just like other people? Well, Hold On! We encouraged each other. So we finally reached there!

During the way, we've also got the chance to visit The Forgotten Homeland, which named it a fairyland of the dreams. When in Yangshuo, the crowed West Street， marvelous Moon Hill, Big Banyan Tree and Butterfly Spring Garden attracted us.

Let's review this journey, or, I should say, Yesterday once more!

We are On the way…a long way.

The Forgotten Homeland，When the boat sails along the stream, you see peach trees on both banks with green grass. Where hills and the stream seem to end, you suddenly find a secret passage which leads to charming pools and paddy fields. It is like a dreamland with fairy music drifting in the air from magnificent towers.Passing your embroidery ball to the beloved one, may the fragrance of wine intoxicate those who smell it. The tender feelings seem to be water, poem and song. This is the fairyland in my dream; this is just the land of peach Blossoms which you have expected for a long time.

West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. It now becomes a place that mixes the eastern and western culture harmoniously.

in Yangshuo has developed into the most prosperous area in Yangshuo.

It's the largest living butterfly view garden. there are hundreds of species of butterflies. The scenic area includes: Butterfly cave, Butterfly hill waterfall, Butterfly hill Scenery, Butterfly displays. Besides the various butterfly species you can see performance of local customs, training bees, and taste natural honey.
