Xiamen North Railway Station

Though there are four main train stations in Xiamen, Xiamen Railway Station and Xiamen North Railway Station are high speed railway stations. With 6 platforms under conduction, Xiamen North Railway Station is the second largest railway station in Xiamen which was opened for service on April 26, 2010. It is located in Houxi Town, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. It is 10 km from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, 20 km to the city downtown. Its building has three floors. The first floor is for passenger arrivals, the second for departures and the third for food and beverage services.

Xiamen North Railway Station to Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport

By Airport Shuttle Bus: The journey takes is about 20 minutes on a cost of only 10 yuan. Departure times are listed below:
From Gaoqi Airport to Xiamen North: 10:40, 14:50, 17:20.
From Xiamen North to Gaoqi Airport: 09:30, 12:40, 16:00.

By Taxi: It will cost you around 60 yuan if you take a taxi to airport from Xiamen North Railway Station. Be aware of that taxis in Xiamen have a night serve surcharge if it is after 11 pm.

Xiamen North Railway Station to Gulangyu Island

Xiamen North Railway Station is about 28 km from Gulangyu Island.This journey will cost you around 70 yuan if you hire a taxi to drive to wharf .But take the No.950 bus to the Wharf will only cost one yuan.
