Kashgar Airport

Kashgar Airport is located at north of Kashgar in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 10 km away from the downtown. It opened to public in April, 1993. Its flight level is 4E, available for B747-400 and the following models landing. The runway is 3,200 meters long, 45 meters wide. Terminal area is 23,800 square meters. Terminal building is 4856 square meters, with checks and ticketing function, and also meets the passenger's waiting, dining, lodging, shopping and shuttle needs. Airport flight support equipment is complete. There are navigation stations, drop sets, night lighting equipment, special vehicles equipped with universal, available day and night aircraft taking off and landing.

Kashgar Airport

Kashgar Airport is located in the north of Xinjiang Kashi Kashgar City, 10 km from the city center. Kashi airport was built in 1953. April 23, 1993, the State Council approved Kashgar Airport Port open. According to the spirit of import and export cargo transport agreements, Southern Airline increased international flights twice weekly between Urumqi and Islamabad to four times a week. On Monday and Friday, there are two flights stopover at Kashgar Airport to carry passengers from abroad to Kashi or Kashi travelers to visit Islamabad. Accordingly, the Kashgar Airport Port was officially opened on December 16, 2005. In 2006, the Port had entry-exit population of 16,826.
