Tour Details:

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel at 8:00 am, then travel about 10 km to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The landscaped park is home to around 80 giant pandas as well as red pandas, black-necked cranes, white cranes and other animals, with walkways providing views into the open enclosures. Arrive before 09:00 am for the feeding period at around 09:30 am, when the pandas are generally most active. Afterwards, visit the Panda Museum and watch the 20-minute presentation at Panda Theatre before continuing along the viewing paths. Have a traditional hotpot lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense.

In the afternoon, visit the Sanxingdui Museum, whose collections preserve major archaeological discoveries from the ancient Shu civilization. Exhibits include the listed 2.62-meter standing statue, 1.38-meter bronze mask and 3.95-meter bronze tree, as well as gold and jade objects. Return to your hotel after the museum visit.
