The Most Charming Wetland — Flower Lake in Sichuan

Flower Lake is located near the No. 213 national express between Ruoergai County of
Sichuan Province and Langmusi Town of Gansu Province. It is a natural lake (called as “Hai Zi” by locals) in the Re'er Daba Grassland. With a help from
YunSky Travel Agency, I had a trip to this fantastic land.
Re'er Daba Grassland is the second largest grassland in China following the first one Hulunbuir Grassland and at an altitude of 3,468 meters. According to this introduction, we could know that Flower Lake is worth having a trip although it is situated in a remote place. In Tibetan language, “re” refers to a Buddhism sutra, “er” refers to armies. “Re'er” was once a title of an army because this army was reading a sutra before their battle.
There are three lakes in Re'er Daba Grassland. The smallest one is called Cuo'ergan. The largest one is called Cuoreha. While Flower Lake is the middle one. Titled by Chinese National Geography, Re'er Daba Grassland is reputed as the most beautiful grassland in China, while the Flower Lake is the most charming wetland in China.
