Arrive in Beijing, and meet your YUNSKY guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel, complete check-in and keep the rest of the day free to rest and adjust to the time difference.

Beijing Opera

Meals: Breakfast, A la carte Chinese lunch

Start at Tian'anmen Square, then walk into the Forbidden City for more than two hours among its palace halls, gardens and collections. Have the scheduled à la carte Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit the Temple of Heaven, Beijing's historic ceremonial complex, then walk for about 30 minutes through a quieter Hutong. Meet a local family and learn Facial Makeup Painting for Beijing Opera.

Return to the hotel after sightseeing. Your guide can provide information about optional Beijing evening performances.

Good to know:
1. Besides facial makeup painting for Beijing Opera, activities also can be arranged In Hutong: Learn Chinese calligraphy and painting; Learn to make traditional handiworks like Chinese knot and Paper-cutting; See an acrobatic display by a Chinese yo-yo master, and learn to make dumplings/kites with a local family.

2. Besides exploring Hutong on foot, you may also try it by bicycle or richshaw. Whichever you prefer, please share with us. We will make it cater your real needs.

Activities in Hutong

Leave the hotel in the morning and drive about two hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of Beijing's best-known restored sections. The cable car and slideway are included as stated in the itinerary.

Have an à la carte lunch near Mutianyu. On the drive back to Beijing, stop outside the Bird Nest and Water Cube, two prominent venues built for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Return to the hotel. Ask your guide for suggestions if your family would like to try a Peking Roast Duck Restaurant.

Good to know:
1. With less commercial and crowds, Mutianyu Great Wall is available to take cable car up and down, or get up by cable car and down by a sled to slide down, which is an exciting option when the weather is nice.

2. Need more time on the Wall, no worries, just tell us when you book this tour, we could arrange a picnic lunch for your family on the Wall.

3. In summer, swimming in the Water Cube is a great choice to cool down and have fun with your beloved children.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Check out and visit the Summer Palace, Beijing's largest surviving imperial garden. See Longevity Hill, Kunming Lake and the Long Corridor, with a boat ride available during the visit.

Have lunch en route to Beijing West Railway Station, then take the 5-5.5 hour high-speed train to Xi'an in a second-class seat. Meet the local guide at the station and transfer to the hotel.

Good to know:
Beijing zoo with giant pandas is always attractive to friends no matter from oversea or China. If your family would like to visit giant pandas, please tell us. We could arrange it for you too.

Summer Palace

Meals: Breakfast, A la carte Chinese lunch

Drive to the Terracotta Warriors and view the excavated soldiers, horses and chariots in battle formation. A shuttle bus is included. Afterwards, visit a local family and learn to make mini version of pottery figurine by hand as a keepsake.

Have the scheduled Chinese lunch near the Terracotta Warriors scenic area.

Return to central Xi'an and visit the Ancient City Wall, one of the country's best-preserved historic city walls. Bicycle rental is optional and excluded from the price; if weather prevents the wall visit, the Bell Tower will be visited instead.

Good to Know:
1. Bike-riding on the ancient city wall is only allowed for children above 10 years old or taller than 1.4 meters (4.6 feet). If your child is too young to ride a bike, you may have a relaxing walk instead or take a golf cart.

2. Shaanxi History Museum is a great place to watch vast collections of ancient cultural artifacts. If you family is fond of Chinese traditional culture, you might choose to visit it. Please notice it closes on Monday.

Terracotta Warriors

See the exterior of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and, when available, the North Plaza fountain show. Continue to Gao's Courtyard for its traditional residence and shadow-puppetry culture, then walk through the Muslim Quarter for local streets, shops and snacks.

After lunch, transfer to Xi'an Railway Station for the high-speed train in a seco^nd-class seat to Chengdu; the journey takes about four hours. Meet the local guide at the station and continue to the hotel.

Shadow Play

Leave the hotel early and drive about one hour and 80 km to the Dujiangyan Giant Panda Protection and Research Center for the scheduled panda volunteer program.

[08:30-09:00]  Register for the volunteer program, sign the required safety agreement and receive overalls and gloves. Staff provide safety training and explain the day's duties before work begins.

[09:00-10:00]  Work with the panda-care team to remove leftover bamboo and waste, observe the animals' environment and clean the panda house.

[10:00-11:00] Visit the panda villa area with the instructor.

[11:00-11:30] Help feed the pandas the specially prepared steamed buns and fruit.

[12:00-13:00] Have lunch with the staff at the panda protection and research center, followed by a short break.

[13:00-14:00]  Watch the scheduled educational video about panda conservation and the relationship between people and giant pandas.

[14:00-14:50] Take part in the second scheduled feeding with steamed buns and fruit.

[14:50-15:30]  Learn the steamed-bun formula from the instructor and make the food used for the pandas.

[15:30-16:30] Return the volunteer overalls and conclude the program with the instructor and pandas.

Transfer back to the Chengdu hotel after the volunteer day.

Panda Volunteer

Drive about 1.5 hours to Mt. Leshan . Explore on foot or choose the approximately 30-minute cruise for an overview of the Giant Buddha and surrounding mountain.

Have the scheduled Sichuan Hotpot lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to Chengdu and walk through Jinli Ancient Street, whose architecture reflects the Qing-dynasty style. Continue to People's Park, where local residents sing, dance, play games and relax; you may sit in a teahouse for a cup of tea.

Good to know:
1. Not so much fond of hotpot, no problem. Please tell us your flavor preference in advance. We will arrange other popular local Chinese food for you accordingly.

2. Sichuan Opera is quite an attractive and mysterious entertainment to all of us, Change Faces is the unique skill of Sichuan Opera. It is a performance to express the emotional changes of the role, aiming to let the audiences to see the emotional changes from the changing faces rather than feel about it. Like it, tell us, we will arrange it for you too.

Mt. Leshan

Keep the morning relaxed in Chengdu, then transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. Meet the local guide on arrival and continue to the hotel.

Good to know:
Have a cooking class in the Sichuan Cuisine Museum would be a good choice for you if your family likes to have some real Chinese food when you get back home. Learn it and own it. Tell us if you like to add it into your trip in advance, we could tailor make it for you.

Shanghai Night View

Begin at The Oriental Pearl TV Tower  and visit Shanghai City History Museum , then ascend to the tower's second sphere for an elevated view of Shanghai. Continue through Lujiazui to see the modern Pudong skyline.

Walk along the Bund beside the Huangpu River and compare its historic waterfront buildings with the skyline opposite. Lunch is served at a nearby local restaurant.

After lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden, then explore Shanghai Old Street   and Nanjing Road. Return to the hotel; the optional Acrobatic Show, including ERA, can be arranged in the evening.

Good to know:
Revolving Restaurant Oriental Pearl Tower is at the top of the Tower, soaring at 267 meters above Shanghai's bustling streets. Enjoying a buffet lunch in this top revolving restaurant is an experience unlike any other, with its breathtaking views of the city in full vision beneath and all around you. The Bund

Good to know:
1. Shanghai Disney Resort is the first Disney Resort in mainland China. The resort will cover 963 acres in Pudong, Shanghai, approximately 3 times of the size of the Hong Kong Disneyland Park. Shanghai Disney Resort includes a theme park (Disneyland Park), two themed hotels (Toy Story Hotel & Shanghai Disneyland Hotel), shopping and dinning complex (Disneytown) and Wishing Star Park. Have a day trip in Disney Resort with your family might be a good leisure choice for your reference.

2. Plan a half day trip to the water town Zhujiajiao or Xitang; or plan a day trip to the famous city Hangzhou (1hrs) or Suzhou (0.5hrs) by high speed train from Shanghai. Please feel free to share with us your interest, we will work out the itinerary catering your real wants.
