Arrive in Beijing, China's capital, and meet the local driver at the airport beside a YUNSKY signboard. Transfer to the hotel, with the remainder of the day free to settle in.

Beijing City View

Meet your YUNSKY guide in the hotel lobby at the appointed time and begin at the Temple of Heaven. Explore the imperial complex and observe local residents exercising, practicing tai chi, dancing or playing games in the surrounding square.

Continue by rickshaw through a Beijing Hutong and visit a local family for a closer look at neighborhood life.

Pause for an à la carte Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, walk across Tian'anmen Square and enter the nearby Forbidden City. Spend more than 2 hours exploring the palace halls, gardens, imperial stories and historic collections before returning to the hotel.

Note:  At night, a lively and dramatic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater or the Acrobatic Show can be your optional night entertainment.  

Forbidden City

Meet your guide early at the hotel and drive about 2 hours from central Beijing to Mutianyu Great Wall, a Great Wall section first built during the Northern Qi in the mid-6th century. Round-trip cable-car tickets are included.

Have an à la carte lunch near Mutianyu, then return toward central Beijing. Stop outside the Bird Nest and Water Cube for photographs of these venues built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Return to the hotel afterwards, and ask your guide for a Peking Roast Duck restaurant suggestion if desired.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Check out in the morning and visit the Summer Palace, including Longevity Hill, Kunming Lake and the painted Long Corridor. A boat ride on the lake is optional.

After an à la carte lunch, transfer to Beijing West Railway Station for the second-class high-speed train to Xi'an, a journey of about 5-5.5 hours. Meet your YUNSKY guide at the station exit and continue to the hotel.

Summer Palace

Begin the Xi'an visit at Xi'an City Wall. Walk along the historic wall, with an optional bicycle ride available at your own expense.

Continue toward the Terracotta Warriors, stopping en route at a cave-dwelling pottery workshop to see how miniature warriors are made. After an à la carte lunch nearby, explore the archaeological site and its formations of soldiers, horses and chariots.

Back in central Xi'an, walk around Bell Tower Square,  where local activity unfolds amid historic lanes and modern city life. Return to the hotel afterwards.

Note: You could ask your local guide for some information about evening entertainment or night show, such as Tang Dynasty Show.

Terracotta Warriors

Enjoy a free morning, then meet your guide at the hotel and check out. Continue to the Muslim Quarter   to visit Gao's Courtyard and learn about historic residences and shadow puppetry. At the Big Wild Goose Pagoda North Plaza, photograph the Xi'an landmark and see the music-fountain performance scheduled for 12:00, subject to availability.

Take an evening flight from Xi'an to Zhangjiajie, the northwestern Hunan city known for its sandstone-pillar landscape and its connection with the visual design of Avatar. Stay overnight in Wulingyuan District.

Tips: Airline schedules from late November to early March may require adjustments to this day's program.

Zhangjiajie National Park

Visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by riding the Bailong Elevator, then explore the Hallelujah Mountains associated with Avatar and the First Stone Bridge in the World. Continue by battery car to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve for views of peaks, valleys, forest and, when conditions allow, a sea of clouds.

Continue to Ten-mile Gallery （ by small train, paid at your own expense. Along the 5km route, naturally shaped rock formations line the valley. Return to the Wulingyuan hotel at the end of the day.

Yuanjiajie Scenic Area

After breakfast, visit the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, followed by an à la carte lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Baofeng Lake  for waterfalls, mountain scenery and a boat ride accompanied by Tujia folk songs, then return to the hotel.

Note:? The Zhangjiajie attraction order may be adjusted (e.g., Mt. Tianmen & Grand Canyon swapped). All sites will still be covered in full.

Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

After breakfast, explore Tianmen Mountain, including the cable car, Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Temple, Bonsai Garden, Tianmen Cave and Connected-Heaven Avenue. A lunch box is provided for the railway journey. Transfer to Zhangjiajie station for the high-speed train to Chongqing, about 3 hours, and meet your local guide on arrival.

Transfer to the Victoria cruise and check in between 18:00 and 20:30. The Yangtze River cruise departs Chongqing at 21:00.

Notes:
1. If you have enough free time in Chongqing before embark, you can have a try of Chongqing Hot Pot for your dinner.
2. Generally, the cruise departs from Chongqing Chaotianmen terminal, but some cruise boats may depart from Fengdu or Fuling Terminal (from Chongqing about 1.5-2 hours' drive), which depends on the water level and the cruise's arrangement. 

Tianmen Mountain

Spend the day cruising the Yangtze. In the morning, an optional visit may be offered in Fengdu, depending on river conditions. The included excursion visits Fengdu Shuangguishan National Park, while  Fengdu Ghost City is available for an additional fee. A captain's welcome reception is held in the evening, and the Feng Yan San Guo “Rommance of the Three Kingdoms” Show is another optional excursion.

At around 07:30, an optional excursion is offered to White Emperor City, with views toward Qutang Gorge. Back aboard, sail through the Three Gorges, including Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, then take the included afternoon boat excursion to Goddess Stream.

Qutang Gorge

Visit the  Three Gorge Dam in the morning for 2.5 – 3 hours. Meet the local guide afterwards, have lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to the railway station for the high-speed train to Shanghai, about 7.5 hours. Meet your Shanghai guide at the station and continue to the hotel.

Three Gorges Dam

Begin the Shanghai sightseeing day with a walk through a Nong Tang, the lanes of Shikumen, to observe local daily life and the city's distinctive residential architecture.

Continue to Yuyuan Garden, which is closed on Mondays and replaced by Jade Buddha Temple when necessary, followed by the nearby Yuyuan Bazaar in Chenghuangmiao Old Street.

After an à la carte lunch, visit Shanghai City History Museum at the foot of  The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, then ride to the tower's second sphere for an elevated view. Drive through Lujiazui to see the modern Pudong skyline.

Return to the Bund and look across the Huangpu River toward the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the high-rise Pudong skyline.
