Upon arriving in Harbin in the early afternoon, you will be greeted by our local tour guide and transferred to the hotel for a short rest.

Evening idea for reference (explore on your own)

After dinner at a local restaurant, consider visiting the Ice Lantern Fair in Zhaolin Park. Also called the Ice Lantern Show, it runs each year from January 5 to the end of February. This small, peaceful downtown park is one of the three principal venues of the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival and hosts a large outdoor display of ice lanterns. The illuminated sculptures are especially atmospheric after dark and often attract fewer crowds.

Please note: it holds every year from January 5th to the end of February. Please wear warm down coat and shoes when visiting it at night.

Pick up from hotel lobby in the morning, we drive straightly to the Siberia Tiger Park to enjoy a safari style trip to see the tigers and lions (feeding the animals is optional). After that, enjoy a free walk on the historical Central Street at your own pace.

Have lunch at a local restaurant and sample authentic Northeast Chinese cooking.

Continue to Sun Island for the Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo, with winter snow sculptures and optional activities such as snow tubing and dog sledding. In the late afternoon, visit  Ice and Snow World, where full-size buildings made from ice are illuminated each night. Return to the hotel after the visit.

After breakfast, meet at your hotel, and then drive 5~6 hours to China Snow Town, which is located in Shuangfeng Wood Farm in Mudanjiang City, about 280 kilometers from Harbin. Enjoy the bright sunshine, clear sky, fresh air, endless snow-capped land, primitive wooden houses, which form a beautiful snow scene in this winter wonderland.

Arrive in the afternoon and rest briefly at the hotel before going up to the viewing deck for a panoramic look across China Snow Town. Later, take a leisurely walk along the 500-meter Xueyun Avenue. Play in the snow, try local snacks and watch hot water crystallize in the cold air. After nightfall, you may step outside again to see the illuminated village.

Please note:
1. The temperature at China Snow Town is around -30 ℃ to -15 ℃ during from November to next February. Take warm enough clothes, shoes, cap, and gloves with you. Besides, sunglasses, sunblocking scream, antifreeze, high-calorie snacks are also needed.
2. There are many exciting snow activities are provided in this town. If you are interested, you can try skiing, snowmobiling, dog-drawn sled, horse-drawn sled, etc. It will bring more fun to your snow holiday, but extra fee for each activity is on your own expense.
3. When you take photograph, please keep your phone/camera warm as some phones cannot work in extreme low-temperature condition.

China Snow Town

In the morning, go to Yangcaoshan Hill, the highest hill in Snow Town, about 1235 meters above the sea level. It is the best place to see the sunrise or sunset. Enjoy a snowmobile experience. Then And the scenery here is the most beautiful to taking the snow town picture.

Continue to Jingpo Lake, described as the world's largest volcanic-lava-dammed lake, and watch local fishermen carry out their traditional winter-fishing practice.

After the visit, travel to Erdaobaihe, the town near Changbai Mountain. The 372-kilometer drive from China Snow Town takes about five to six hours.

Settle in with free time for a leisurely soak in the natural hot spring.

After breakfast, we will start to explore Changbai Mountain. Arriving at the Tourist Transfer Center in Chibei District, we will take a shuttle bus to the north slope of Changbai Mountain entrance. Then change scenic shuttle bus to visit Heavenly Lake (Tianchi).

Heavenly Lake occupies the main crater at the summit of dormant Changbai Mountain. Its water appears deep blue in summer, while the surface turns white with ice in winter. Sixteen peaks surround the lake, and a narrow outlet between Tianhuo and Longmen peaks feeds Changbai Waterfall. The lake is a source of the Songhua River and is described as the world's deepest inland lake as well as China's largest and highest volcanic lake.

Continue along the route to Changbai Waterfall, then visit Lvyuan Pond and walk through the underground forest known locally as a natural oxygen bar.

Free at leisure before transfer to the airport or the railway station to catch the flight or train to your next destination.

Please note:
1. It is 81 km from Erdaobaihe Town to Changbaishan Airport is about 81 kilometers ( 1.5-2 hours' driving).
2. Changbaishan Railway Station is just located in Erdaobaihe Town. It operates high speed trains to Jilin (about 2 hours), Harbin (about 4 hours), Changchun (about 2.5 hours), Beijing (about 6 hours).
3. Depart from Other Cities: To well match your following schedules, you can get to Jilin, Changchun, Harbin or Yanji to catch a flight or train to other destinations in China.
