A Dali-Lijiang stay can focus on architecture, food, crafts and selected lake walks. A trip built around a high mountain view needs a distinct activity plan and operating check. Christmas is not a nationwide public holiday in mainland China, but individual hotels and international travel demand can still affect your arrangements. A journey extending into January needs its own date check. Confirm the transport, meals and chosen activities for the precise days rather than relying on a vague year-end availability statement.
It depends on the location and current weather. High mountains, visitor routes and town streets have different conditions; no December itinerary should guarantee snow at all of them.
