[09:00-12:30] Take the scenic shuttle to Bailong Elevator  and ride up to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Walk for about two hours among the area's sandstone pillars and see the landscape associated with the film Avatar.

[12:30-13:30] Have a simple Chinese lunch at a restaurant in the Yuanjiajie rest area; carrying fruit or snacks is recommended.

[13:30-16:30] Continue by shuttle to Tianzi Mountain Area and spend the afternoon at its viewpoints, where the scenery varies with season and weather.

[16:30-17:30] Descend by cable car and return to the hotel. The listed Xiangxi folk show is available as an optional evening activity.

Yuanjiajie Scenic Area
