[12:30-14:00] Have lunch at Shi Yuan Restaurant, where the listed local dishes include braised eggplant, vegetable balls and diced chicken with walnuts in soy sauce.

[14:00-16:30] Visit the Temple of Heaven, the ceremonial complex where emperors prayed for good harvests, then browse Panjiayuan Antique Market and Pearl Market.

[16:30-17:30] Return to the hotel. Ask your guide about an evening show or a Peking duck dinner.

[08:30-12:30] Drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Choose to hike after arrival or take the cable car up before walking along the restored wall.

[12:30-13:30] Have lunch at a local restaurant near the Great Wall.

[13:30-16:30] Return toward Beijing and stop outside the Bird Nest and Water Cube, two landmark venues from the Beijing Olympic Games.

[16:30-17:30] Transfer back to the hotel and keep the evening free.

[09:30-10:00] Pack, check out and meet your guide for the final half-day in Beijing.

[10:00-11:30] Head to the Drum Tower area for a Hutong Tour by rickshaw and a closer look at Beijing's traditional lanes.

[11:30-14:30] Continue to the Summer Palace, where a boat ride on Kunming Lake is included. Lunch is arranged at nearby Xiangyangtun Restaurant.

After lunch, transfer to the station for the high-speed train to Xi'an. Meet your Xi'an guide on arrival and continue to the hotel.

[14:00-17:00] Visit the Xian City Wall, where bicycle rental is optional and excluded from the price. Continue to the Muslim Quarter for time among its shops and food stalls.

[17:00-17:30] Return to the hotel. The optional Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner is available at your own expense.

Tips: Remove hats when entering Tibetan temples and monasteries, follow the clockwise visiting direction, do not smoke or touch Buddha statues, and do not turn scriptures or ring bells without permission.

[09:30-12:30] Visit the Potala Palace, then walk clockwise around the palace with local worshippers. Continue to the opposite hill for a panoramic photo viewpoint.

[13:30-16:30] Visit Jokhang Monastery, then continue to Barkhor Street for a closer look at local culture and Tibetan handicrafts.

[12:30-13:30] Lunch at Tibetan restaurant for local food.

[13:30-16:30] Visit Sera Monastery  and observe the monks' debating session in the shaded courtyard, then return to the hotel for free time.

[07:45-11:15] Disembark at Maoping cruise terminal, visit the Three Gorges Dam Site, and transfer to the passenger center in central Yichang.

Take the high-speed train to Shanghai. Meet your Shanghai guide at the station and transfer to the hotel.

[12:30-13:30]  Have lunch featuring the listed Shanghai specialties of dim sum and steamed buns.

[13:30-16:30] Explore Yuyuan Garden, then browse Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road for local souvenirs and silk products. Finish with a walk along the Bund and its historic waterfront architecture.

[16:30-17:30]  Return to the hotel. Ask your guide about the optional Acrobatic Show, including the ERA production.
